Ganderbal: A 27-year old youth was injured on Friday evening after being attacked by a wild bear in Sonamarg area in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Officials said that a wild bear attacked a youth, identified as Rayees Ahmad Sheikh, 27, son of Muhammad Sultan Sheikh and a resident of Chundosa Baramulla, at Sonamarg near Youth Hostel, leaving him seriously wounded.
The youth was immediately brought to PHC Sonamarg for treatment where refer from SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
