Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed grief on Saturday over the tragic road accident in Daksum, Anantnag, which killed eight people, including two minors.
In a condolence message, the Lt Governor said, “I am deeply saddened to learn about the loss of precious lives in the unfortunate road accident in Daksum, Anantnag, today. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family members during this hour of grief.”
He added, “I have issued instructions to the District Administration to provide all necessary assistance to the affected families,” the statement reads.
