Despite global condemnation, Israel continues bombarding Southern Gaza’s Rafah with 53 more Palestinian civilians killed and 357 injured in the latest 24-hour reporting period.
Reports indicate that the ground invasion has deepened further as tanks rolled into the centre of the southern Gaza city sheltering hundreds of thousands of displaced civilians with Israel’s military stating that the Gaza’s border with Egypt – known as the Philadelphi Corridor has been invaded.
The intensified ground invasion comes after back to-back Israeli strikes on tents killed more than 62 civilians, condemned globally.
Moreover, Israel’s air force bombed and killed two paramedics with the Palestine Red Crescent Society as they attempted to rescue wounded people in Tal as-Sultan, west of Rafah.
At least 36,224 Palestinians have been killed and 81,777 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7.
