Jammu: One unknown intruder was killed while another one was held when both of them tried to cross the LOC (Line of control) during two separate infiltration bids in arnia sector of Rs Pura area of Jammu border, Border Security Force said.
“At about 2.30 am today, BSF troops noticed suspicious movement of an intruder near Arnia sector of RS Pura area. The intruder crossed over to the Indian side from IB and started moving towards the fence”, Inspector General of BSF, Jammu Frontier, DK Boora said.
“Our troops warned the intruder many a times not to move forward, but he didn't pay any heed and kept aggressively moving towards the fence against which he was neutralised”, he said.
In the second incident, BSF troops observed suspicious movement in Indreshwar Nagar of Samba’s Ramghar sector around 4.30 am. However, he was challenged and raised his hands for surrender”, he said.
Boora further said that the BSF is committed to safeguard the borders and will defeat the designs of the enemy to commit terror activities in the country.
