Keran: Indian Military Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the Keran sector along the Line of Control in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday, holding meetings with commanders and troops.
In a post on X, the military stated that the Chief praised all ranks for maintaining high standards of professionalism.
He urged them to remain steadfast in addressing emerging security challenges.
In recent weeks, Keran has seen exchanges of fire between militants and forces. Earlier, the administration had promoted the LOC region as a tourist destination.
