Shopian: Two local militants have been killed in a military operation in the Alshipora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday, police said.
ADGP Vijay Kumar identified the duo as Morifat Maqbool and Jazim Farooq of LeT. However, their ages went revelead by the J&K police.
He said that the duo was involved in the killing of Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma who was shot dead by suspected militants on February 26.
Sanjay Sharma (40), was working as an ATM guard in his native village in the Achan area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama.
