Kupwara: Two unidentified militants have been killed as an infiltration bid was foiled by forces along LOC (line of Control) in Machil sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday morning, officials said.
As per Indian military, the operation was launched by Indian army, BSF (Border Security Force) and J&K police.
“The infiltration bid was foiled today morning by alert troops along the LoC in Machil sector of Kupwara and two terrorists killed and four Ak riffles, six hand grenades and other war like stores have been recovered.”
