Kupwara: Four policemen were injured after they were allegedly beaten by military personnel during a raid on the residence of a local territorial military man in connection with a case in the Batpora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday.
Special Police Officers Rayees Khan and Imtiyaz Malik, along with constables Saleem Mushtaq and Zahoor Ahmad, who are posted at the Kupwara police station, were admitted to SKIMS Hospital in Soura late Tuesday night, according to officials.
The condition of the injured policemen is reported to be stable.
