Youm-e-Quds (Jerusalem Day) is an annual event observed on the last Friday of Ramadan by Muslims worldwide to express solidarity with Palestinians and protest against Israeli occupation. It was introduced in 1979 by Iran's then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini following the Iranian Revolution. The day is marked by rallies, demonstrations, and speeches condemning Israel’s policies and calling for the liberation of Jerusalem (Al-Quds in Arabic).
