Srinagar: Hundreds of devotees gathered at Chatti Padshahi Gurdwara, located in Srinagar’s Rainawari to celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru in Sikhism.
On the auspicious occasion, the devotees held special prayers for the snowfall and rain amidst the prolonged dry spell in the Kashmir valley.
The atmosphere at the Gurdwara was filled with joy and spiritual fervor as devotees from different walks of life came together and engaged in prayers and hymns, the devotees sought blessings for prosperity, peace and unity.
The devotee said that they also prayed for snow and a wet spell in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V K Birdi, along with other officials, also visited the Gurudwara for obeisance
