Sopore, March 6 —A 35-year-old vendor from Sopore has been missing in Delhi for 19 days, with his family holding a peaceful protest on Thursday and urging authorities to trace his whereabouts.
Shabir Ahmed Shah had traveled to Delhi on December 31 to purchase items for his business but lost contact with his family on February 16.
“We were in regular touch until that day, and since then, there has been no trace of him,” said his wife, appealing to the government and police for intervention.
The family filed a missing person report at Delhi’s Nabi Karim police station immediately after losing contact.
Delhi Police confirmed that an alert had been issued, and efforts were underway to locate him.
