Srinagar: Two persons were killed and three others injured after a heavy vehicle (truck) collided with a car LMV (Light Motor vehicle) in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
As per reports, the accident took place near Hotel Point, leading to the spot death of two persons, who were identified as Mohammad Sidiq Khan, son of Abdul Aziz Khan and Mohammad Zaman Khan, son of Qamar Zaman Khan, both residents of Trikajan area of Boniyar in Uri.
Other three injured persons were shifted to the trauma hospital in Pattan by rescuers including locals and police.
A police officer has confirmed the accident as well as the casualties and said that a case was registered and further investigations has been taken up.
