Srinagar: A Lashkar-i-Toiba commander Nisar Ahmsd Dar, resident of Redwani Bala from Kulgam has been killed in Sirhama area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday, Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said.
"He was involved in several crimes and killings in the area and active since 6th May 2021," he said.
Sources said CASO (Cardon & Search Operation) started around 3 am of the night and the exchange of fire began at 4:00 Am.
However, the gunfire got intense at 6:00 am and stopped after within few minutes.
