In a bid to boost ties and tourism, Iran and Saudi Arabia have announced to scrap Visa requirements for travellers between the two countries.
Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Maryam Jalali Dehkordi announced the continuation of collaborative efforts between Iran and Saudi Arabia saying that the primary objective is the elimination of visa requirements for travelers between the two nations.
Maryam Jalali Dehkordi, presently in Riyadh, the Saudi capital, to participate in World Tourism Day festivities, confirmed the development.
During her visit, she held high-level talks centered on identifying and overcoming obstacles hindering the development of tourism relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Dehkordi also extended a warm invitation to the Saudi Minister of Tourism, urging him to visit Iran in a gesture of goodwill and cooperation between the two nations.ย ย
