Reasi: Two local militants of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were caught by villagers and handed over to the police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Sunday, police said.
They were identified as LeT commander Talib Hussain, son of Haider Shah a resident of Rajouri district and Faizal Ahmad Dar, son of Bashir Ahmad Dar a categorized militant from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
They were captured in Tuksan village by locals, Police said.

Two AK assault rifles, seven grenades and a pistol were recovered from them, police said.
Meanwhile, the Director-General of Police Dilbag Singh announced a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh for the villagers.
LG Manoj Sinha also applauded the villagers.
“With this kind of determination shown by the villagers, the end days of terrorism is not far and announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for the villagers,” police said.
Earlier, J&K police announced money rewards to people who provide information about the presence of militants in Jammu and Kashmir.
