Rajouri: An 11-year-old girl and a cab driver died, and five others were injured when their vehicle plunged into a gorge near Thanamandi area of Pir Panchal region’s Rajouri district on Friday.
The injured have been shifted to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri, with two in critical condition.
As per reports, the accident occurred on the Thanamandi – Shahdra road when a Tata Sumo (JKJ20-3494) lost control, leading to the tragic incident.
Seven people were injured, and two were declared brought dead at Sub District Hospital Thanamandi.
The deceased are identified as driver Mohammad Yasir and Shazia Kouser. The injured passengers are Pooja Devi, Arushi, Aliya, Shakeel Ahmed, and Kala Khan. Rajouri’s Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, visited GMC Associated Hospital to inquire about the well-being of the injured.
