Bandipora: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar said a solo Pakistani militant was involved in the killing of two policemen at Bandipora in North Kashmir.
"A Single Pakistani militant had fired upon driver and one PSO of SHO but couldn’t snatched weapon due to retaliation by second PSO," IGP said during a joint review meeting in Bandipora.
He said the Pakistani militant was facilitated by two OGWs.
GOG Kilo Force has also visited and inspected the scene where the attack was carried out.
The meeting was attended by IGP, Army, CRPF and J&K police officers where operational works were reviewed.
The field officers were instructed to generate more inputs and enhance anti militant operations in district.
