Bandipora: One person was killed while two were injured in a cylinder blast at a residential house in Kudara village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday, while the property was also damaged, officials said.
An official said the blast took place inside the house of Mohammad Shafi, leading to the onspot death of one person and two others were injured.
The official said that following the incident injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Incharge BMO Bandipora, Dr Fayaz Ahmad said that two people including a minor with burn injuries were brought to PHC Chuntimulla and they are being treated there.
He identified the deceased as 19-years-old Sajad Ahmad Khan son of Faroz Ahmad Khan.
