Srinagar: National Investigation Agency carried raids at 11 places in Kashmir Valley and an accused Mudasir Ahmed Dar son of Ali Mohammed Dar, resident of Nowpora, Kharpora-Kulgam was arrested for providing logistical support and transporting arms & ammunition, NIA officials said on Wednesday.
NIA has accused him for being closely associated with TRF commander who was responsible for the recent targeted killings across the Kashmir valley and also involved in radicalisation and recruitment of impressionable youth at the behest of TRF.
NIA sleuths with the assistance of police and CRPF carried out raids in connection with a case related to militancy in Pulwama, Kulgam, Srinagar and Ganderbal districts.
"The case relates to activities of ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and its commander Sajjad Gul, who has been actively radicalising, motivating and recruiting youth of J&K to undertake violent activities in J&K and other parts of India," they said.
"The case was registered suo moto by NIA on 18 November 2021."
During the searches, digital devices have been seized and further investigation in the case continues.
