Verinag: A military trooper from the 19 RR was killed, and nine others were injured after their vehicle rolled down into a gorge in South Kashmir’s Verinag on Saturday.
An official said that the military vehicle of the 19 RR skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge at Batagund area of Verinag.
“So far, one army man is confirmed to have died while nine others sustained injuries,’ the official said, adding, ‘all the injured have been taken to a nearby hospital.’
