Kupwara: A man allegedly strangled his wife to death in Tangdhar of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
According to officials, the victim, in her 30s (name withheld), was allegedly killed by her husband after he strangled her at their house during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.
The accused, identified as Amjid Ahmed, son of Abdul Rasheed Mughal of Shartpalla Tangdhar, is said to be a driver by profession.
Police said an investigation is underway and the details will be shared accordingly.
