Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported 563 fresh covid-19 cases in which 58 cases from Jammu region and 505 from Kashmir Valley on Sunday.
There are now 4463 active cases— 722 in Jammu and 3741 in Kashmir.
Providing district wise details of the cases, they said, Srinagar reported 129, Baramulla 130, Budgam 58, Pulwama 12, Kupwara 80, Anantnag 60, Bandipora 8, Ganderbal 9, Kulgam 16 and Shopian 3 while Jammu logged 39 cases, Udhampur 5, Rajouri 2, Doda 2, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 2, Poonch 3, Ramban 4, Reasi 0,
There was no death due to the virus during the time. So far 4777 people have succumbed to the virus and among them include 2346 from Jammu division and 2431 from the Valley, officials said.
Besides, they said, 679 Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—75 from Jammu division and 604 from Kashmir Valley.
Also 36952 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered in J&K during the time, they added.
