Anantnag: The Police and security forces on Friday detected and defused an Improvised Explosive Device in Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag after a suspicious bag was found.
IED was found on roadside near a stone quarry in Achabal, following which Traffic was temporary halted along the Kokernag-Achabal road.
He said that later, a bomb disposal squad reached to the spot and defused the IED and traffic was restored on Kokernag-Achabal road.
