French cop who shot dead 17 years old teen has received millions in donations, way more than his victim.

The cop has been suspended and placed under formal investigation for “voluntary homicide” after the deadly shooting sparked widespread outrage and riots.

He has received more than $1.27m in donations, while the victim’s family has got only $180K, South Asia Index reported.

The killing of Nahel Marzouk, a French citizen of North African descent has triggered massive protests in France.

Curfew was announced in Calamart suburb of Paris after unrest erupted earlier this week.

Thousands have been arrested as the country grapples with pressing questions of race and policing. 

The boy’s death has renewed debates on France’s long and troubled history with its ethnic minority populations, and allegations of police brutality.
