Pulwama: Pakistani national among three militants of JeM (Jaish-e-Mohammad) were killed on Wednesday in Chandgam military operation, an area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said three militants of JeM including a Pakistani national were killed in Chandgam encounter.
A Police officer said the identification of other two militants is being ascertained.

Earlier, Police said ‘a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on specific information about the presence of militants in the area as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, which was retaliated, triggering a gunfight.’
He said that incriminating material, arms and ammunition including 2 M-4 carbine and 1 AK series rifle were recovered from the spot.
