Srinagar: Eyewitnesses in the aftermath of the Rambagh "encounter" have claimed that “three boys were taken out from a car and shot dead on the street”.
Many expressed shock over the incident as they witnessed the firing while some accused the police of killing the suspected militants without giving them a chance to surrender.
In a Viral Video, eyewitnesses said the trio were “shot dead by the armed forces in front of us," FPK reported.
Witnesses also alleged that the trio was dragged down from a vehicle and shot dead.
In another viral video, women were seen shivering while showing identity (Adhar) cards of the deceased.
Soon after the incident took place, locals gathered near the spot and protested, said killed men were “innocent" as they witnessed the account.
The crowd shouted slogans and protests were reported from the spot.
One of the protesting women in the video said that Kashmiris have “no idea about the events unfolding around them.”
However, police on its official Twitter handle has said that three militants were killed in the shoot-out.
