Srinagar: Militants managed to escape after a brief encounter (Military operation) with police and government forces in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday, officials said.
Kashmir Police Zone tweeted, " After initial brief encounter during cordon & search operation in Gundpora Rampora area of Bandipora, militants managed to escape from the spot. However, our team is chasing them."
Earlier, police said an encounter has raged in Bandipora area of North Kashmir.
