Srinagar: A boy accused of raping a minor girl was arrested in Gulshanbagh area of Lalbazar, Srinagar on Sunday.
According to police, he was identified as Sajad Ali Sofi –resident of Gulshanbagh area in Lalbazar.
“He was arrested for raping a minor girl of the same locality whose name has been withheld to protect her identity.
Police has registered an FIR 53/2022 under sections 376 of IPC and sections 3/4 of POCSO Act stands registered at Lal Bazar Police Station.
