Poonch: The dead Bodies of two minor girls, who drowned a day before while taking a bath in the Mandheri River near Dhaki Bridge in J&K’s Poonch district, were recovered on Sunday.
A police officer said that the bodies were recovered near Chajjala village, 5 km from Mendhar town.
Three minors including a body and two girls drowned in the Mandheri River on Saturday.
However, rescuers were only able to find the dead body of the boy, who was identified as 9-year-old Azhar.
After hectic efforts bodies of two girls, Rifit Bi daughter of Sarfaraz and Aliya Bi daughter of Liyaqat Khan were recovered today by the rescuers comprising policemen, civilians and army personnel.
