Srinagar: Amid slogans, choas and mourning; bodies of two civilians were buried in their respected graveyards at 1:30 A.M in the midnight.
Hundreds of People participated in the funeral and slogans like Altaf k khoon se inqalab ayega" ( Altaf’s Blood will Bring RevolutionRevolution) were chanted.
Dozens of Police Forces were deployed in the area.
LG Manoj Sinha led administration of J&K directed Police to exhume the bodies of Altaf and Dr Mudasir, from North Kashmir’s Handwara.
“In presence of the police and other officials from the administration, the bodies of Altaf and Dr Mudasir were exhumed from a graveyard at Handwara amid tight security cover,” an official said.
“The exhumation took place silently in presence of a limited number of police and civil administration officials.”
The exhumation took place at 5:30 pm after which bodies of slains were shifted to Srinagar.
As per family sources of Altaf and Dr Mudasir, they were told by the authorities and police to ensure only a limited number of people participate in the funeral and there would be no “law and order situation.”
When Dr Mudasir’s wife tried to show her one-year-old daughter Inaya the face of her father, everyone wailed in helplessness.
