Handwara: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) detained Ishtiyaq Ahmad Baba, the Drug Control Officer (DCO) of north Kashmir’s Handwara, on Tuesday following allegations of bribery.
An official source revealed that the ACB acted on a complaint received through its helpline, accusing the officer of soliciting a bribe.
The accused had reportedly demanded a sum of ten thousand rupees from the complainant, he said.
