Baramulla: An unknown mob attacked the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Kashmir-based media team on Friday at Mirgund Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to a post in the official WhatsApp group of the party’s media team, those attacked include Media Incharge Kashmir Adv. Sajid Yousuf Shah and Social Media Incharge Er. Sahil Bashir Bhat.
Several PSOs sustained serious injuries in the incident, according to the post.
The injured PSOs have been admitted to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment.
“It has been learned that the mob turned violent while protesting over the unavailability of water in the locality.”
