LG Allocates 2,292 kanals of Land for Industrial Estates, Police Facilities

Srinagar: The LG Administration met on Friday and allocated land measuring 2,292 kanals and 2 marlas to various departments in Jammu and Kashmir.

This includes 1,212 kanals and 12 marlas located in Tehsil Dinga Amb, District Kathua, and 1,070 kanals in Tehsil Samba and Vijaypur, District Samba, in favor of the Industries & Commerce Department for the establishment of industrial estates in these districts. The development of these industrial estates will play a crucial role in the region's growth, create various employment opportunities, and benefit both the public and the government.

Additionally, the administration transferred 2 kanals and 14 marlas of land situated at Shuhama in District Ganderbal for the construction of a police post, and 6 kanals and 16 marlas, along with 3 sirsai, located at Lar in District Ganderbal for the construction of a police station.

Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor, Atal Dulloo, Chief Secretary, and Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, participated in the meeting.
