Leh: At least six people died and 22 others were injured after the bus they were traveling in met with an accident and plunged into a 200-meter-deep gorge in the Durbuk area of Leh.
An official said that the bus, traveling from Leh to Eastern Ladakh, plunged into the gorge, killing six people on the spot.
He added that some of the injured are in critical condition and have been rushed to the District Hospital SNM Leh for treatment.
A rescue operation is currently underway.
