Srinagar: The J&K Shia Association expressed condolences for the assassination of Hamas’s political chief İsmail Haniyeh on Wednesday, calling it a major loss to the Palestinian freedom struggle.
In a post on X, it said: “We are devastated to hear about the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.”
“A great loss for the Palestinian people and their struggle for freedom. We stand in solidarity with his family, friends & the Palestinian nation,” reads the post.
