PULWAMA, Feb 18 – A couple sustained burn injuries after a gas cylinder exploded at their home in Parigam, Pulwama, on Tuesday evening, officials said.
A police official mentioned that the explosion occurred inside a residential house, injuring a 34-year-old woman and her 32-year-old husband.
“Both were initially taken to the district hospital in Pulwama and later referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for specialized treatment,” he said.
Doctors at SMHS confirmed that the couple remains under medical observation but is in stable condition.
Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the explosion.
