Udhampur, Jan 27: At least four people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) near Jakhani Chowk in Udhampur district on Tuesday, officials said.
According to reports, the accident involved a bus, a four-wheeler and a motorcycle, killing four persons on the spot.
Soon after the incident, police and rescue teams reached the spot and initiated relief and rescue operations.
Officials said details regarding possible injuries and the exact cause of the accident are yet to be ascertained. Further information is awaited.
