Srinagar, Dec 21: A night fire broke out in the Bohlagpora area of Soura, Srinagar, engulfing at least two to three residential houses, officials said.
Fire and Emergency Department teams, assisted by police and locals, are working to control the blaze, which reportedly started in one house before spreading to neighboring properties.
In a separate incident, a fire damaged a residential house in the upper portion of Shalimar, Srinagar. Details about the extent of the damage are awaited.
