KANGAN, Aug 20: A 45-year-old woman was killed after a Scorpio SUV collided with a Tata Mobile vehicle in the Akhal area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday, officials said.
The woman sustained serious injuries in the collision and was immediately shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan, where doctors declared her brought dead, an official said.
The deceased was identified as Naseema Begum, wife of Nazir Ahmad Ahanger and a resident of Akhal, Kangan.

According to officials, the accident occurred when the Scorpio collided with the Tata Mobile near Akhal.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings.
