Drass, October 28: Vehicular movement along the Zojila Axis will remain restricted from 4 pm to 8 am the following day from October 28 to 30 due to scheduled maintenance work and blasting operations, District Police Drass said on Wednesday.
In a public advisory, police urged motorists and travellers to avoid proceeding towards the Zojila Axis during the restricted hours to prevent inconvenience and ensure their safety.
The restrictions will apply to all types of vehicles during the specified period, the advisory stated.
Police said the measures were necessary to facilitate maintenance and blasting operations on the strategically important route while ensuring the safety of commuters.
Travellers have been asked to cooperate with the authorities and plan their journeys accordingly, keeping the restricted timings in mind.
