Sopore: A student in 8th class in north Kashmir’s Sopore suffered injuries after being assaulted by his mate on Thursday afternoon.
An official said that the student was attacked by his mate when he appeared in examinations in the government high school at Tujjar today.
He said the student identified as Salib Ashraf received a head injury after being hit by a sharp-edged tool by his mate
"He was immediately rushed to sub-district hospital Sopore, where his condition is stated to be stable."
The Himalayan Post couldn’t independently verify the roots of the attack.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched a probe in this regard.
