New Delhi: NewsClick founder and Editor-in-Chief, Prabir Purkayastha, and the Human Resources Head of the news organisation, Amit Chakravarty, have been arrested by the Delhi Police on Tuesday in connection with an alleged foreign funding case filed under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
Moreover, the police also sealed NewsClick’s office in New Delhi.
Mr. Purkayastha was summoned to the Delhi Police Special Cell office for questioning and later arrested.
