Sultanpur, Oct 26: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was acquitted on Monday by an MP/MLA court in Uttar Pradesh’s Sultanpur in a 2018 defamation case over alleged objectionable remarks against then BJP president Amit Shah.

The case relates to remarks Gandhi allegedly made against Shah during a rally in Bengaluru ahead of the 2018 Karnataka Assembly elections.
