Srinagar: A tourist from Bengaluru died after falling unconscious late on Friday in a hotel in Srinagar, according to officials.
The tourist identified as Nagar Subbarao Nagendera, 68, son of NS Subba Rao, fell unconscious at Hotel Saria Harwan Srinagar, late on Friday evening, an official said.
He was shifted to Paras Hospital Srinagar where doctors declared him dead, he added.
Police took the cognizance of the incident and took the body in its possession for completion of medico-legal formalities.
“The body of deceased was later airlifted to his hometown in Bengaluru,” the official added.
