Srinagar: A minor girl was killed after she fell into a well in Nikloora, Litter area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
An official identified the deceased as Fatima Jan (7) daughter of Fayaz Ahmad Dar and a resident of Nikloora.
As per reports, she fell into the well on wednesday afternoon.
“She fell into the well while she was playing near her residence,” the official said.
He said that soon after the incident she was rescued by her family members and shifted her to a nearby hospital.
However, she was declared dead on arrival at the hospital, he added.
