Srinagar: A man was killed in a scuffle that broke out over a land dispute in Muchawa village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district this afternoon, an official said.
The deceased have been identified as Zahoor Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani, he said.
As per the initial reports a scuffle broke out at the residence of Ghulam Mohammad Wani (father of victim) this afternoon and during the scuffle, Zahoor Ahmad Wani was killed," he added.
A police team have reached at the site to ascertain more findings leading to death of the person, police said.
The body has been taken for post-mortem.
“There has been some inter-family dispute which led to the death of the person," police added.
