Uri: A 10-year-old was killed in a leopard attack in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday afternoon, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Asifa Rashid (10), daughter of Rashid Bajad and a resident of Zamboor Pattan, Uri.
They said that a leopard attacked the girl and left her grievously injured while she was grazing cattle at Zamboor Pattan in Uri.
“The girl succumbed shortly after the attack”, the officials said.
