Jammu: A daily-wager employee of Jal Shakti (water) department died while two other people were injured after they came under landslide in Darahl area of Rajouri district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shabir (48) son of Mohammad Azam, resident of Chowkian Darhal and the injured were Shabir, son of Sain Mohammad, Mohammad Shamsheer, son of Fateh Mohammad, both residents of Simbli.
Official sources said that two persons were working as daily wage employees with Jal Shakti department, and another was a labourer who was restoring a water pipeline at Sarran Simbli area of Darhal when the landslide hit them.
SSP Rajouri Mohammad Aslam confirmed the death of the daily-wager.
