Kulgam: Police have booked five persons accused of drug peddling under PIT NDPS act in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district and were lodged in Baderwah and Rajouri district jails.
They have been identified as Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh, resident of DH Pora, Tariq Ahmad Lone, resident of Yaripora, Sajad Ahmad Baghat, resident of Yaripora, Barkatullah Mir, resident of Kulgam and Aijaz Ahmad Ganie, resident of Gadihama.
Police in a statement said that Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh, Tariq Ahmad Lone and Sajad Ahmad Baghat have been lodged in district jail Baderwah and Barkatullah Mir and Aijaz Ahmad Ganie were lodged in district jail, Rajouri.
