Srinagar: A paramilitary CRPF man (Central Reserve Police Force) on Wednesday committed suicide at Sanatnagar camp in Srinagar, an official said.
The deceased was identified as Constable Anand Lal, hailing from northern India’s Bihar.
He ended life by shooting himself dead with AK-47 rifle at a camp of 29 battalion in Sanat Nagar here, he said,
While reason for him taking such an extreme step was not immediately known, police have registered a case and started investigation, he added.
